No Vendor Lock-In

Your Content, Always!

We are committed to democratizing the “no-code” movement and enabling anyone to create and run their own web applications without needing to know how to code. One of the key principles we believe in is “no vendor lock-in”.

Vendor lock-in refers to the situation where a customer is unable to switch to a different vendor without incurring significant costs or disruptions. This can happen when a vendor’s technology or services are tightly integrated with the customer’s business processes, making it difficult to switch to a different vendor without having to rebuild everything from scratch.

We believe that vendor lock-in is antithetical to the spirit of the no-code movement, which is all about empowering people to create their own applications without having to rely on a small number of proprietary platforms or tools. We are committed to providing our users with the freedom to use our platform to build and run their applications, but also to export their data and code if they ever decide to switch to a different platform or decide to “self-host” their site.

Specifically, we commit to the following principles to ensure no vendor lock-in for our users:

Data Ownership: We believe that our users own their data, and we provide easy-to-use tools to export their data in standard formats (e.g. CSV, XML) at any time. You can learn more about how to export your site.

Open-Source Components: The vast majority of the features on our platform rely on open source. You can get almost the same setup for your self-hosted site by using the plugins listed https://nocodewp.io/docs/plugins-and-integrations/plugin-list/

No Long-Term Contracts: We don’t require our users to sign long-term contracts or commit to using our platform for a certain period of time. Our users are free to cancel their subscriptions at any time without penalty.

We believe that by adhering to these principles, we can create a platform that truly empowers our users to create and run their own web applications without being locked into our platform or any other proprietary technology. We invite you to join us in this movement and experience the freedom of no-code development with no vendor lock-in.
