You can export your site content anytime by using the export feature.

Before starting an export, make sure your site is publicly accessible, and clean the redundant data, such as pending comments, draft posts etc… to keep the export file reasonable in size.

Once you are ready to create the XML file, visit YOUR-SITE-ADDRESS/wp-admin/export.php page and choose the content you want to export, and then hit the “Download Export File” button.

Database & Media Files

As an alternative method, we can give your database and media files. “DIY Export” is not always giving a smooth experience, especially when migrating a large site.
